Care Guide
Small habits to keep your crowns, toppers and jewelry looking perfect for a long time.
CROWNS AND TOPPERS
To keep your crowns and toppers in perfect condition, keep these tips in mind:
- Hold it by the base. When putting on or taking off the crown/topper, hold it by the base, not by the characters or decorative elements.
- Don't bend or twist it. Although EVA foam is flexible, glued joints can suffer or come apart if the piece is forced.
- Avoid water and humidity. The photo paper can warp, stain or lose definition if it comes into contact with water.
- Clean only when dry. If there's dust, remove it with a soft cloth or a clean brush.
- Don't use alcohol, solvents or chemical wipes. They can damage the glitter or the finish and affect the adhesive.
- Avoid rubbing and friction. Repeated rubbing can dull the shine or lift the edges.
- Avoid direct heat. Silicone (especially hot glue) can soften with heat: keep it away from radiators, direct sunlight, inside a hot car, or near hair dryers.
- Don't expose it to prolonged direct sunlight. To keep the colors vivid, avoid leaving it in the sun for long periods (especially in shop windows or by windows).
What if a corner comes loose? Don't pull on the piece. If needed, apply a small amount of glue and let it dry.
JEWELRY
To keep your jewelry in perfect condition for a long time, keep these tips in mind:
- Avoid contact with detergents and chemical or abrasive substances.
- Avoid playing sports or bathing while wearing it.
- Put your jewelry on after applying creams, lotions or perfume.
- Avoid knocks or scrapes to your jewelry.
- Clean jewelry only with lukewarm water and dry it afterward with a cotton cloth to prevent it from losing color or shine.
- Regularly check that elastics and clasps are in good condition so you don't lose the piece.
- Store each piece of jewelry individually and don't leave it exposed to the elements.
